Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We had a full-day trip. I believe we had 20 anglers. We had decent bass fishing here, guys, at the island. Really good conditions. Pretty much every little kelp line and reef kind of wanted to produce on the bass, shorts, letgos, all that good stuff. Some sheepshead, whitefish, all that stuff, too. Overall, it was a nice, steady action day, I guess. We did hook one yellow, lost it in the kelp, but that was basically it. The weather was nice, really, really clean water, good conditions here. No exotics for us, but we had good action. Mike had the current fish report for you below. 
Also want to let you guys know that that full-day open party trip, Monday the 30th, is a guaranteed go. We are going fishing full-day on the Navigante, guaranteed go, this Monday, June 30th. Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We came in this morning from our day and a half, 16 passengers. We had a really nice hit on sea bass yesterday. We ended up capturing 25 seabass, I think up to 32 pounds. 10 around there on the rockfish, limited rockfish with some lingcod, 15, 16 nice lingcod, and some other miscellaneous fish. Other than that, it was a nice day of fishing. It worked out pretty good. Guys put in their time and effort, and it paid off. Hopefully we can continue catching some of these things here. Mike had the current fish report for you below.

Ryan checked in for The Pescador out Redondo Beach. Just calling in a wrap up for our Sunday here. Really, really fun fishing there at Santa Barbara Island. Once again, shallow water fishing. I don't think we've set the anchor over 100 feet here today. We finished up with one yellowtail, about 12, 15 pounds. Limited sheepshead, 16 sheepshead for our eight anglers, 14 sculpin, 67 rockfish, and 30 whitefish. Really, really fun fishing, guys. Half-pounds, three-quarter-ounce leadhead or sliding egg sinker on 30 or 40-pound test. Tons and tons of fun, a lot of opportunity. We do see game fish pretty much every day we've been there. Just a matter of getting the right bite. Today, we were fortunate enough to keep one away from the pinnacle. Look forward to seeing you guys a little bit later. Ryan checked in for The Pescador out Redondo Beach. We're leaving Santa Barbara Island. We had an excellent day of shallow-water fishing. Really fun fishing all around on the leadhead and squid and sliding egg sinker. We ended with 3 lingcod, 28 reds (limits), 20 sheephead, 100+ misc cod, 30 sculpin, and a handful of whitefish and bass to finish it up. We did see some sign of pelagic fish, but didn't hook any today. The conditions were a little off--very lacking in current most of our day. We are going fishing tomorrow if you guys want to come out! Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. Just giving you kind of a two-day wrap-up. We had two consecutive overnight trips, a couple of charter groups. We got lucky and found some fish. Some biting fish anyways, seabass and big yellows. Two-day limits, I guess we can just call it that for the last couple of days. Two-day limits of white seabass up to about 30 pounds. A handful of those big yellowtail each trip up to about 35 pounds. A few halibut that go along with those seabass and yellowtail and really, really good calico bass fishing.

Ryan checked in for The Pescador out Redondo Beach. Saturday, we had a full day to Santa Barbara Island. Light load, 11 anglers. We had excellent sheephead fishing. We were on a shallow water program there. We hooked three yellowtail, one straight in the hook, and two others just absolutely blow apart 40 pound monofilament. So if you guys are coming out on one of those shallow water trips, make sure you bring that 40 and 50 pound test. There is some very, very large game fish to be tried at out there. And then today, we were on an overnight trip at San Clemente Island, very, very fun group of anglers, We had pretty darn good bass fishing on the front of the island there. And we finished up with limits of cod out front. Very, very fun fishing and nice weather. Look forward to seeing you guys on the boat here.
