Steve checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We are not fishing yet; we're doing some projects on the boat, but we still are doing our whale-watching stuff on the weekends. I'm just letting everybody know the weather is absolutely flat, calm, beautiful, and gorgeous. It doesn't get any nicer for this time of year. I wish we were fishing, but there is very, very good whale-watching here. The last couple of weeks, we actually saw 8 different kinds of whales. This morning, we had 5 humpbacks and 3 gray whales, and we are looking for some more people to get us off the dock tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Like I said, really, really good whale-watching! We got three, four more open party trips, you guys, on the Navigante if you guys want to join us. They're going to be overnights, rock cod, or bust. Concentrating on the cod, freezer special, whatever you guys want to call it. We have a trip here leaving the 11th, fishing the 12th, the 18th, fishing the 19th. We do have a five to seven full day rock cod special that leaves on Monday the 22nd. Five to seven. And our last overnight open party. This leaves December 28th, fishes the 29th.
If you guys want to join us on the overnight, it's $240 per person. On the full day, it's $120. Knocked off a little bit, just because it's off season here.

Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We are on the first day of a 2.5-Day trip. We had a really nice morning on the yellowtail. Those things wanted to bite for us, and we did some damage on the nicer grade. We then ventured off, and so far we are 4 for 6 bluefin tuna up to 25 pounds. We're out tomorrow as well, so we'll see what that brings.

Steven checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We had a really fun 1.5-day trip with a bunch of good guys yesterday, got in this morning. We had a couple of decent stops yesterday, which I think put us at around 22 bluefin, weighing up to about 40 to 44 pounds. Always hooking and losing a few on this light line, but ended up with a fairly good catch for these guys. Ended up doing a few rock fish drops towards the end of the day for some nice lingcod, nice big reds, and an assortment of rockfish. Great weather and great guys! Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We're on a day and a half with 14 passengers, getting a fair shot here at some tuna. We currently have 12 bluefin tuna up to 35 pounds and four nice great yellowtail. We definitely have some really good chances, a lot of break-offs, stuff that was going wrong, tangles, current was ripping, all that good stuff.

Robert checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. Today we had a little half-day private charter out of Redondo. We had 13 passengers, and we managed to put together 110 assorted fish. We had kind of rough weather today with the current ripping. Even with bad conditions, we managed to make a day of it. Mike has the latest fish report for you below.

Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We've been doing a lot of fishing guys! We came in from a 2.5-day this morning, and had overall good weather and good fishing! We decided to concentrate on tuna the first day, and it paid off with limits for our 15 guys. The second day we worked at it, and struggled a little bit, but ended up getting 60 tuna for the trip. We fished the island one day, and had good bottom fishing and all that stuff! Mike has the current report for you below.
We are back out tomorrow with a 1.5-Day trip. Also, as a reminder, the Pescador will be starting their lobster trips soon!

Mike checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We had a 976-Tuna 2-Day Charter. We had our chances yesterday. We hooked 35 to 40 bluefin to land 15 from 15-40 lbs. We had a lot of casualties due to light line and small hooks. Unfortunately, we did not succeed at getting anything in the dark and dealt with a little bit of weather. Today, we fished 2 different islands and covered a lot of ground looking for more tuna and pelagics at the island, and struck out. So we did the rockfish thing, and the guys loaded up on some nice bottom grabbers. Mike has the latest fish report for you below.
