Steven checked in for the Navegante from Redondo Beach. We are getting in from our 2-Day trip. We spent the first day almost entirely surface fishing and had really, really good calico bass fishing. We looked at some game fish and hooked a couple, but we never put one on the boat the first day. At the end of the first day, we ended up doing some bottom fishing just to round out the bags. We caught really nice, big reds and all the other miscellaneous bottom stuff you could ask for to finish up day one. On day two, we did a little bit of the same. We fished a different island, and had a couple of nice halibut and one big yellowtail. We also caught a couple of nice big lingcod, and lots of big reds and rockfish to round out day two. It was a fun group of guys, and the weather cooperated. Steven has the latest fish report for you below.
