Mike called in from the Navegante out of Redondo Sportfishing. We left on a full-day trip and had really really fun fishing here. We ended up with 6 or 7 yellowtail -- all big boys. Our biggest was about 26 pounds. We also had good calico bass fishing, and caught a lot of white fish and sheephead for the guys that wanted to fish the bottom. Everyone is going home with fish for this holiday tomorrow. Mike has the current fish report for you below.

Mike checking in for the Navegante out of Redondo Beach. They're on a 1.5-day trip with 15 anglers. They got railroaded by big yellowtail, but need up hooking around 15 to 16 yellowtail and get 7 on the boat. All that nice grade, 20 to 25 lb fish. Guys are getting broken off on the lighter stuff so make sure to bring your heavy gear! 30 to 40 lb. Fun fishing but sea lions did mess them up a little bit. But they're on the search for some tuna and keep on fishing. Mike has the latest fish report for you below.
